For us, the choice to have a kitchen inside The Marvelous Child Development Center was an absolute must have in order to create a learning and cultural environment around food. With freshly prepared food, meal times offer a space to interact with others and supports culinary traditions, ecology, sharing and healthy eating habits.
And children need to good, nutritious, fresh food.
Each day we serve multiple freshly prepared stews, soups, grilled, baked or sautéed meals.
Daily snacks include raw and/or fermented foods
Sprouted, nut and alternative flours are often used
Meals are tailored to your child’s necessary dietary needs
Never processed, never damaging
Both filtered and natural spring water are provided
Our meals are locally sourced, pesticide, hormone and antibiotic free, pasture fed, humanely raised and handled meals.

Nutrition and On-Site Chef
Nutrition is important at every age. Your children need proper nutrients to stay healthy and grow up strong. Nutrition for children is especially critical because it can also help establish a foundation for healthy eating habits and nutritional knowledge that your child can apply throughout life. Our On-Site, dedicated chef prepares breakfast, lunch and snacks, using fresh and local pesticide free ingredients that aim to exceed all nutritional guidelines.
If you have a child with allergies, we will gladly work with your family to adapt our menu to the best fit your child’s needs. At Marvelous Child we don’t just serve meals, we also discuss each meal’s ingredient, talk about the importance of healthy eating habit and we prepare food together.
