Healthy, toxin-free environment 

At the Marvelous Child, we know children thrive in an environment which is free of indoor and outdoor pollutants.  Our facility has been completely renovated to eliminate products that contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs).  Our results create a toxic, chemical and fume free environment.   

We also limit the use of products with VOCs or other toxins.  It's the little details that make a huge difference.

• Children utilize BPA free manipulative toys (wood, metal, recycled BPA free plastic)  

• Kitchen tools are wooden, bamboo, porcelain, and stainless steel, including cups and bowls  

• Each cleaning supply is researched and approved for minimal amount of toxins according to Cosdna (https://www.cosdna.com) and Environmental Working Group (https://www.ewg.org/) reviews.  Here are some examples of some of the products we use:

  • Our common areas are cleaned with Force of Nature (https://www.forceofnatureclean.com/natural-cleaner-and-disinfectant/) which is an appliance that turns tap water , plus a capsule of salt water & vinegar into a cleaner and disinfectant. It’s on the EPA’s list of Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19.     

• Counter Culture Probiotic Cleaning Tonic 

  • Because certain cleaning solutions destroy good and bad bacteria after disinfecting, we then spray the surfaces with a probiotic cleaning tonic.
