With a Master’s in Bilingual Education and over a decade of teaching experience, Diyana is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences inspired by nature, creativity, and child-led exploration. As a mother, educator, and founder of Marvelous Child, she is dedicated to nurturing curiosity, connection, and lifelong learning.
Chris
Lead teacher.
Chris has been a dedicated member of the Marvelous Child team since the center opened and brings over 30 years of experience in early childhood education. He believes that meaningful learning happens through play, inquiry, and strong relationships. Chris works closely with families to build a community founded on trust, respect, and shared goals that extend beyond the classroom. In his free time, he enjoys baking, learning foreign languages, and spending time outdoors.
Isabel Martinez
Infant Teacher
Originally from Spain, Isabel enjoys sharing her language and culture by speaking and singing to the children in Spanish. A proud mother of two, she has dedicated over a decade to supporting young children’s growth and development. Isabel is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment where children feel secure, connected, and valued. Her warm and caring approach helps foster strong relationships and a sense of belonging for every child in her care.

Cook
Sofia has been a valued member of the Marvelous Child family for the past three years. She is a talented cook who prepares a wide variety of nutritious, homemade meals for our children each day. Her menu features delicious Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine, as well as traditional Bulgarian and American dishes. Sofia takes pride in creating flavorful, well-balanced meals that introduce children to diverse cultures while supporting healthy eating habits. Her dedication and care help make mealtime a positive and enjoyable part of every child’s day.
Jamie Brinker
Lead Teacher
Jamie has lived in Michigan her entire life and has always had a passion for working with children. From a young age, she enjoyed caring for younger children and discovered her calling in early childhood education after taking a child development course in high school. Inspired by a teacher who encouraged her to make a positive difference, Jamie chose a career in education.
She believes in being a positive role model and helping children develop confidence, independence, empathy, and trust. Jamie is passionate about creating a supportive, nurturing environment where children feel encouraged to learn, grow, and celebrate their accomplishments.
Adriana
Lead teacher.
Adriana has been a valued member of the Marvelous Child family since our doors first opened. Originally from Mexico, she brings warmth, dedication, and joy to her work with young children, especially toddlers. Adriana loves singing with the children, engaging them in hands-on learning experiences, and exploring the outdoors together. Her nurturing nature helps create a welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn through play, discovery, and meaningful connections.
Kamiyah
Teacher
Kamiyah holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and has experience working with both toddlers and preschoolers. She is passionate about nurturing each child’s individual needs and helping them grow, learn, and thrive in a supportive environment. Kamiyah believes in fostering kindness, respect, and positive social skills, encouraging children to be thoughtful and caring toward their classmates. Her warm and patient approach helps create a welcoming classroom where every child feels valued and supported.
